A City for Today’s New Yorkers

Independent statistics also show violent crime occurs every 3 hours on New York City streets, on average. Such statistics also show violent crime occurs every 4 hours on NYC subways, on average. They also show a violent crime occurs every 8 hours in NYC parks and playgrounds, on average. This is the worst and longest crime wave in NYC history. Keep in mind that these are based only on crimes reported. There are more and more unreported crimes that end up being unresolved as such. The same could be said for all the many people dying from the rising homicide wave in NYC that is not declining, and for that and other reasons, many crimes never get solved.

As shameful as it sounds, it will continue, because of the support New Yorkers have for these criminals. The vast majority of the city, including straphangers and vendors, have worked very hard over the years to make New York City what it is today, and many are very happy with the high crime in NYC subways as well as everywhere else in New York. NYC’s previous mayor reelected twice was quite popular then, as he is now. The only reason he is no longer mayor is because of the two-term limit. But if not for that, he would be mayor for another twenty years or so. That’s how much New Yorkers care.

All Forms

It is very sad, and I will tell you now, that as little as 5% of all New Yorkers feel the way I do. I am positive of this considering that I remember well what I was up against when complaining about it ten to twenty years ago. For a long time, I would get backlash and sometimes even physically attacked from speaking out. People who felt like I do were few and far between.

But now, New York City is now the way it’s citizens and residents have wanted it to be. All the crime, all the rights for illegal immigration, all the bail reform, and other things that are bringing down the quality of life in NYC are exactly what its citizens have wanted and have worked so hard for. It took years, but now New Yorkers are seeing their efforts finally paying off. You would think that they would all be happy.

Essentially, they are very happy. Yet, you hear about many of them complain about it all are only doing that just that. It is safe to say that less than 5% of all the people complaining are people who have felt the way I have for years and saw these problems through and through. The other 95% are two types of people.

One type of people are supporters of all the bad policies, programs and practices and don’t want to admit that they were wrong and that maybe they were supporting bad ideas. They don’t want to admit that they had no idea what they were getting themselves into. But looking in the mirror, they know what they won’t tell.

The other type of people are hard-headed, selfish, pompous people who actually still believe even today that this is all going well. These types of people would celebrate the tragedies and even the loss of life, whether law enforcement or civilian. These people would actually continue to come up with their rationale to justify all the horrible events taking place in New York City. Of course.

I remember ten to fifteen years ago; I was and still am part of the 5% who find the results of all these bad policies and leadership sad and disgraceful, I do laugh at New Yorkers who complain about it now. While it is hard to tell who the real 5% are, I sometimes can tell from some remarks that they make. But with 95% of a city of what is currently just gone under 8 million people (despite the sloppy work of the latest US census bureau finding), you would have to see that over 7 million people have worked hard and long to make New York City (all 5 boroughs) the city it is today.

All supporters of crime in NYC feel that it is all work it to keep police off their street. They still believe in social justice and racism, even if they know little about it. You can say that such delusional people have a backwards disposition.

I would have to believe that New Yorkers are only complaining about the cities problems because they feel it is good for their image. It is possible that this may be said for other big American cities, but being born and raised in NYC, and spending a lot of time there up until 2021.
