The U.S. Census Bureau has been having someoperational problems, much involving the censusenumerators. Upon my observations and traveling inseveral towns and cities while going about my ownbusiness. I am positive that it is not only me thatnotices these things, although apparently others don’tinitially say much about it.To start, I have seen piles of census forms on top ofmailboxes in my building, including 8 copies in mymailbox, (all with different census ID #s). One Saturday afternoon, I was at Newark PennStation, interstate bus pick-up point where I was seeinga friend off on a greyhound when shortly afterward, alarge, unmarked coach bus had pulled up.It had stopped at the point of the curb where a NJTransit customer service rep was standing. Iremember this post two years ago and before, exceptthat back then they used the phrase “high internettraffic” instead using “COVID-19” (which is what theyuse now).
