I remember when years ago, back as early as the1990s on, I used to notice certain things happeningaround me and so I would question the consequencesof them Back then, most people would respond bytelling me that I was simply being negative and that itwas all in my mind. I, for one, have the common sense to only use air conditioning at the proper levels for hot weather on a rationed basis and not for the primary sake of celebrating summer, thus not wasting energy and risking colds, fever and virus. Warm weather body care is always important.Air conditioning does not take the place of goodcommon-sense body maintenance for hot weatherincluding: Drinking plenty of cold liquids, especially water. Shining a working fan on yourself at all timespossible. Showering twice daily or at least once daily. Refraining from eating hot foods more than ½ a dozen times each week. Not relying on corporate weather forecasts. These forecasts are bogus and are designed to keep you to “stay tuned”. White privilege is a myth, and there is no such thing aswhite privilege. Contrary to many of today’s youth, many languagessuch as English are not phonic languages, and wedon’t know as much as we would like to think we do.Reading is always a good thing. However, we need tolearn sounds by listening and studying them, asunderstand these sounds so we can be better readers.If we do this, we have a better interest in reading andwriting. Thus, we become also better at speaking andlistening as an extra benefit.Many millennials don’t learn the English languageproperly, and therefore don’t read and write well,whether out of choice or ability. Living with each Other is more of a challenge now. Here is a quote from a famous magazine:“How to Win at Life: Let people do what they need todo to make themselves happy. Overall leadership in our society has gone bad. Youcan see why when you look at left-wing extremists andright-wing extremists, and how delusional many ofthem are. Independents and moderates like myself arestereotyped with having no position, (something thatcouldn’t be further from the truth) because the standardis to be one side or the other. “Agree to disagree” isjust another useless cliché in this sense, while yourinput is restricted and drowned out in many cases.This is a reflection of a two-party system where wewould benefit more from a three or four-party systemmore suited to support a good checks-and-balancessystem.
