Creating a Life out of Lies

Creating long-term lies is a practice popular among people wanting “more perfection for themselves” the “easy way”. Many unsatisfied people choose to do character assassinations on others they don’t like, and then separate themselves from those people so that they never face the truth, even in avoidable situations. Recipients of these character assassinations get chosen on their lack of popularity, 2nd -hand information or not living up to desired standards of those lying. Long term liars aim to create unresolved matters hoping that it will all stick. More of how I know this all at It becomes easier to understand how bad propaganda works when you look at certain situations at home. Coming from a dysfunctional family, my mother’s relatives were good people. But my father’s relatives were marbled with good, bad and ugly. My older brother married a woman in 1984 who chose not to like me, which is okay. But her despise for… Read More »Creating a Life out of Lies

I’d never recommend Amtrak’s Auto Train to anyone

Amtrak isn’t organized overall, and I say this as much as I love the train. I have enough experience to know that they’re nothing like trains in other countries. In particular, I’d never recommend Auto train to anyone. I love the experience of the train, but the worst experience I ever had taking a train was taking Auto train with my younger brother Jeff back in 2008. We booked the trip a week in advance thinking that it might be nice, like the videos online. Boy, we were wrong. They schedule this 855-mile trip to take 17 hours from Lorton, VA to Sanford FL, yet it was 25 hours (not including all our other waiting time). The traffic lines were long to the terminal, with a crowded waiting room we shared with many other overbooked passengers. The cabin was small, and the food was bad, in small portions and costly (being the most expensive frozen… Read More »I’d never recommend Amtrak’s Auto Train to anyone

Paratransit services for physically disabled people

For over 30 years, paratransit service was initially set up for physically disabled people with partial or total struggled use of public transportation and don’t drive. But now, eligibility leeway, DEI and fraud have paratransit service expanded to serve everyone and dilute the application process. The result is declining use of public transit coupled with overused paratransit service. Physically disabled people wait longer for rides to show up, with some left stranded or forced to cancel plans. Some riders are even suspended/expelled for alleged causes. Many Paratransit services even resort to contract with Uber and Lyft to take the overload. I trade stories with others with common experiences. My local paratransit service is called Access Link, for whom I have been a certified (eligible) rider since 2002, being legally blind. Just the same, I have never been inside any their vehicles other than riding with another Access Link rider aa a friend or a PCA.… Read More »Paratransit services for physically disabled people

The “Adam’s apple” as people see it.

Category: Educational The laryngeal prominence otherwise known as is the “Adam’s apple” is large lump in the human neck formed by angles of the surrounding the larynx, typically visible in men and much less frequently visible in women. Men typically have wider, longer vocal cords and deeper growth of their thyroid cartilage, expanding the angle in growth. This is why it is larger and more visible in men. It can’t be altered, including in transgenders. “Transgender women” (biological men) still sound and look like men – because they are men and they always would be. It is rare for biological women to have a visible Adam’s apple, except for some women who suffer from malnutrition or extreme gland and bone lose. Such women are sickly and/or in poor health for the long term. Transgenders are simply transvestites with more clout, legal support and government support. Naturally it wasn’t enough for transvestitism and local actors to… Read More »The “Adam’s apple” as people see it.

According to some, you have COVID no matter what.

According to some, you have COVID no matter what. If you cut yourself shaving, drink a glass of water and if goes down the wrong pipe, trip on a sidewalk bump, snore in your sleep, get hit by a drunk-driver, or even masturbate the wrong way, you have a contagious case of COVID-19.I’ve been noticing this in my travels. I’ve been saying to people that there are only one of three reasons to wear masks and/or take COVID vaccines: paranoia, fashion or mandate (the latter being a form of blackmail). Sure enough, it turned out to all work on a mentally gullible population like the American people. I recently have endured an instance which had turned out to be prime example of this. I’ve been using a CPAP (Continuous positive airway pressure) machine for my mild sleep apnea for about a year now. In the middle of the night a couple of weeks ago, I… Read More »According to some, you have COVID no matter what.

Early Diner Lesson

I remember back when I was about eight years old orso, after my parents had divorced. My father wouldtake my older brother and I out every other weekend. One Saturday morning, my father, his then girlfriendmy brother and I had gone to a diner for late breakfast. It turned out that the food was not good that day, andthe orders were all wrong. Mickie, my father’s girlfriendhad said to my father that he would be better off notleaving the waitress any gratuity at all. When we all got up to go, he said that he had a betteridea than stiffing the waitress. He took some changeout of his back pocket and left a nickel and threepennies next to his coffee cup. When Mickie questioned my father on why he evenleaves her anything all, my father answered, “It’s verysimple. This meal was worse than bad. If I leave thewaitress nothing, she can always nurse herdisappointment with consolation in the form… Read More »Early Diner Lesson
