COVID – Current Protests

People are suffering right now. Many of them have not been able to pay last month’s rent, and probably will not be able to pay next month’s rent either. They struggle with many bills, and many have lost their jobs.
While many want to blame our corrupt and
dysfunctional government, that problem is only part of it.
Many Americans are not being cooperative with rules or guidelines and use the constitution as a means to resist order, not as much because they feel violated. Many don’t think to have had money saved up for an emergency, or even have had their homes properly
stocked with necessities on a regular basis.
The current wave of nationwide protests is not doing very much good right now. They serve to only expose the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The majority of the protesters in these protests are merely people conducting armature vigilantism feeling that they have a better way then the government. They are using the
constitution as a means for insubordination, not as much because they care about civil rights. They are restless, bored, and don’t want to be told what to do.
They don’t care about the many front-line workers who are putting their lives on the line each day for the benefit of others. Most were too busy believing propaganda rather than focusing on priorities, especially during time of need. In some instances, this could be handled a lot better.
While we didn’t ask for this COVID-19 virus, we
certainly, are not handling we well by relying on finger- pointing as the sole ultimate solution.
Many people are out not wearing masks on their faces, not washing their hands nor social distancing. Many are deliberating trying to do careless things that would draw crowds. They don’t care. Some people are even trying to spread the virus by doing things like not
staying home when they’re sick, are spitting and sneezing at others when they are outside, they all want to be rebels without a cause rather than responsible people. This is what I mean when I have said in the past that Americans COLLEECTIVELY are not that bright
people, and so this pandemic shows it.
The responsible ones are outnumbered by the
irresponsible ones, and we all have to suffer as a result. If we were all responsible, this pandemic would not have been not nearly as bad in the country as it has become. Use all the excuses you can think of, for that is what keeps a crisis like this alive. It is just so sad.
