Free Bus Passes for Migrants

One Saturday afternoon, I was at Newark Penn
Station, interstate bus pick-up point where I was seeing
a friend off on a greyhound when shortly afterward, a
large, unmarked coach bus had pulled up.
It had stopped at the point of the curb where a NJ
Transit customer service rep was standing. The door
opened and out was coming (one by one) a whole
bunch of those migrants from the southern border. The
NJT rep was handing each person stepping off the bus
a pass and saying to them “Welcome to New Jersey”.
As I watched this all, I had asked the NJT rep what he
was handing each of them and he said, “one-month
unlimited ride bus passes”. Nobody coming off
appeared to speak English but they each all smiled as
they were given their bus pass.
Other people were there observing what I was
observing, but most said that they didn’t want to get
involved. A few laughed about the situation. After a
while, the rep turned to me and said “Could you stand
a little further back, sir? You are making me nervous.”
But before I went back into the Newark Penn Station
building, I had seen a whole crowd of them from the
bus. It looked like more than bus capacity.
Of course, I contacted NJ Transit customer service by
phone on the following Monday and wrote a letter as
well. The customer service rep had told me that it was
a federal matter and that they had no control of it.
Naturally, there is no way to contact the Federal
Government directly being that they now have blocked
off most communications with private citizens by using
the “COVID card” to justify it all.
One person who was there, and seeing what I was,
told me that MTA reps was doing the same thing at
Port Authority Bus Terminal. I originally had once
thought that this migrant transport project of illegal
aliens were just a federal project, but it looks in fact as
though a lot more parties are involved, such as of the
state and private levels.
I am one of many who spend a small fortune of buses
and trains, and am quite aware of many others who
spend a small fortune on cars.
