Importance of Upbringing

Most kids today are taught the wrong thing. Some
would respond with the concept that some things are
worse than our day while some are better. That is not
always true. I will use me and my ex-girlfriend as
examples.
My ex-grind and I were together for 4 years, and with
plans to marry her, I proposed to her and she
accepted. A few months later she became pregnant. A
week or so later a therapist convinced her break up
with me and move on. I took a blood test and yes, I am
the father. When the child was born, my ex-girlfriend
and I had made plans on care for her on the premise
that ever child needs a mother and father.
We spent a lot of time with her and among other things,
made certain not to involve her in our own issues or
hang-ups. Over the years, we taught her respect,
looked after her health and guided her to have good
morals. She is now 16 and is blossoming into be a
marvelous young woman. Some parents focus on a
child’s development and needs. Some parents are too
selfish and only care about their own needs, which can
reflect the child’s direction. Good teachers and good
parents care about the child. Bad parents and bad
teachers are selfish.
Bad parents don’t think about the fact that a bad
upbringing of a child can lead that child to become a
very bad person. Many members of the cancel culture
are the products of bad upbringing. There is no type of
rehab possible to remedy a bad upbringing. Little can
be done to revive those who want to indulge heavily in
greed, laziness, selfishness, murder and destruction.
The positive thing to be clear of is that a good
upbringing is the best love parents can give their
children. Religion can but doesn’t have to be a part of
that. There is no excuse for bad parenting and no
excuse to use bad parenting as a means to justify
wrongdoing.
