We know that money is used for the “bottom line”.
Money was originally intended as the form of trade for
goods and services. Along time, it has been expanded
as a root to the ultimate lavish lifestyle. You would think
that a person with four mansions would feel awkward
knowing that so many have no home, or people
throwing out good food, don’t think about those going
hungry. People admit that lavish lifestyles don’t make
them happy, so they go for them anyway?
Instead of “sharing the wealth”, we should all just strive
to live comfortably and refrain from living in excess.
Affluent people know better, yet they are too selfish to
consider others. The same could be said for well-to-do
people living off of government assistance based on
fraudulent information, scam-artists, or phony charities.
If the laws were written properly, there would be so few
scams or phony charities. Right now, there are very
few legitimate charities, certainly none at the cooperate
level. The non-profit status no longer has social
meaning.
As a result, many people have resorted to airing money
(from whatever means) though informal scams, madeup professions, frivolous/fictional lawsuits or
conventional crime. Because of the overwhelming rise
in these means, many illegal crimes have been
downplayed to misdemeanors as to lower the priority of
enforcement.
Our leaders are aware of all of this and turn a blind eye
to it all, basically because elected positions have been
taken on as a position for self-interest. It would be good
if there were laws enforced on congress for their
conduct, and the people decided their salaries. but
there won’t be.
So why would things not change? Because of hedge
funds, predatory loans, the stock market and several
other forms of financial management systems that
would initially not be necessary to a basic well-working
economy. So-called financial experts want you to
believe that what they do is right, but we all know it isn’t
right. Affluent people want to normalize this, if they
haven’t already.
