The 1st Saturday after ‘‘Juneteenth’’ is the official day for celebrating it. Juneteeth is to celebrate recovery from the shortest tenor of slavery in world history. While slavery has been going on since the start of mankind on to today worldwide, “Juneteeth” puts a spotlight on slavery in America’s psst and is the most formal way for uninformed liberal people to thank America for outlawing slavery.
These videos are of the festival held right in my town. The stage is set for illegal aliens from Africa to put on a DJ gig as to entertain all the welfare recipients in the county I live in. It’s held on right in town to eclipse small businesses rather than in one of many parks we have and is fully paid for with federal and state tax dollars. All proceeds go towards the movement for “reparations”, which is unconstitutional.
I recognized Juneteeth to be a controversial holiday that has been in existence for decades, as I have studied about this back in grade school. It was only recently that Juneteeth became deemed as a legal holiday on June 19th and celebrated on the firs following Saturday. The reason for the long time for Juneteeth to become a legal holiday is that it’s unconstitutional, as the movement for “reparations” movement it is expected to produce awareness for.
I’m one of many millions of people who have always been against slavery. However, I’m also against the drive for reparations for two wrongs don’t make a right. Reparations is nothing more that a form of socialism made popular by the lust to get other people’s money for something they never did. It is much like a overly widespread lawsuit and is one more thing to back of my point that greed and laziness are a terrible mix, which is one of the things that tear apart our capitalistic country. I’m capitalist and despise socialism.
The movement for reparations is one of many tactics to promote socialism, as I have been a target of it several times in the past. I fortunately don’t cave into these nonsenses, and I urge more Americans should stand up against this horrible practice of Juneteeth and reparations and know that they are not xenophobic for doing so. Is this what we want to teach our children to want?
