When I was 10 years old (back in 1974), my father
married his cousin’s adapted daughter and for the 1
st 8 years of the marriage (his 2nd, her 1 st) they had a lot of
problems. They blamed everything on me when
something went wrong with them. According to what
they had everyone thinking, I had done such terrible
things such as setting a dog on fire, poisoning a child,
throwing another dog out a window, pouring a gallon of
soap into a coffee machine, covering my father’s face
while he was driving, continuously stealing money and
jewelry from him and his wife, and other terrible things.
Of course, all these were tales of which they told were
as to cover up their real incidents. None were ever
proven to be true, and some were found not to be.
Then came 1984, when they kicked me out of their
house, and I was homeless for a few months before I
moved to NJ. My father and my cousin (his then wife)
both told me strongly that their marriage will get so
much better and that their lives would work so much
more smoothly with me not around. Then 8 years later I
got a call from my sister telling me that they were
getting a divorce. When I asked her “What happened,
Sis? I thought I was said to have been all the
problems.” She said “Kenny, when you moved out, I
took you place”.
If Americans don’t get back into focus on the real
issues, we will digress even more then we are doing
now. Censorship can only stifle the right of a chosen
crowd to speak out. Not being a supporter or hater of
Donald Trump, I would stress the following.
Blame one person for all the problems (especially in
another country), but when Donald Trump leaves office
(whether now or 4 years from now) we will still have
those problems, I guarantee you. I have lived in the US
all my life, and I have seen many of these problems for
the past 20 or so years.
These things you hear about of what’s going on in the
US, have been so for a long time now. 2
nd hand
information or bad media does not do anything except
throw Americans off the focus of what is really going on
now. Keep in mind that for all Donald Trump is (and I
certainly don’t admire him), he is not the cause of our
problems. He is just a symptom of bad government. He
is a disruption of bad policy and he is unintentionally
exposing the true colors of this dysfunctional country
and its people. Business as usual has been severally
disrupted.
The real Donald Trump is a 74-year-old fourth grader
who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. He is
capable of what an average 9-year-old boy is capable
of, and so that is what he does. The position of the US
president affords the holder of the office to exercise
such simplistic actions that don’t require significant
intellect. He is a salesman, and nothing more.
Mark my words. Our problems will be going on for a
long time after Trump is out of office too, unless people
begin to come to terms with reality. Most Americans
are out of touch with what is really going on. People
abroad would see Americans as people who live in a
mental cocoon. As an American, I have no problem
saying so. Truth may be hard to swallow, but it’s so
much easier to defend.
