Word salads are very popular for people to cover their wrongdoings in business. Word salads are intended confuse and guilt customers, so as not to look into any issues with services or products. Why work with the customer to solve problems when you can simply give them runarounds and useless word salads instead?
Many good customers and service people exist, but many people are moving away from that. Not only is the race card overused, but also the religion card, the lifestyle card, anything that can be used as an excuse to avoid resolving issues with goods or services. Many times, the people who put out word salads are people who like gibberish and drama and enjoy villainizing other people.
I had contacted 1 (800) STAPLES to order business card holders, since it is common for Staples to order thing this way that they don’t have stocked in the store. After paying for it, I had asked for the rep to have the items sent to my local store instead of my home, for I didn’t want to wait all day for a UPS delivery. She said that would be fine and she’d email me the order for me to use at the store when I pick up the items in three to five working days.
After two weeks of not receiving anything, I call the local store and talked to a sales guy there. I explained the situation to him, gave him my name and the name of the item for him to look up. He started to go into a word salad to make me think I had hated policemen. Finding it hard to defend myself against radicle people like this, I told him that I was simple going to call the bank and have them retrieve the transaction since they have all the info, and not buy anything at all. While I said this, he hung up the phone on me.
I had just received in the mail a letter in large print, notifying me that I was blacklisted for a month from making any purchases from Staples whether online or in any of their stores for my “unacceptable condescending behavior” reported by the sales rep.
I know that I’m not condescending, racist, xenophobic or any of that garbage, yet this is a label people want to give out to others. I’ve never been one to throw my weight around. I didn’t grow up with this BS. This has only been like this for the past 10 years or so. You’d think the people would be smart enough to separate business and personal. You’d also think that they would value paying customers.
I have come from a dysfunctional family and have seen these tricks of word salads being played for a long time. It is very hard for lazy, woke, selfish people to propagate on me. I’m not easily vulnerable to feelings of false-guilt, self-doubt, and manipulation. But people that use gibberish and word salads to get their way will keep on trying to change you to see things the wrong way. Such people who get angry don’t get angry because I’ve done something wrong. They get made because their efforts have failed.
